Cleaning Quote Template
A structure for domestic and commercial cleaning contracts — the one-off deep clean priced separately from the ongoing recurring rate, so a customer can actually compare your rate against competitors.
What this quote looks like
Cleaning Quote Template
Prepared for: Oakwood Dental Practice
Initial deep clean
One-off thorough clean before a recurring schedule begins.
Recurring clean
Standard maintenance clean at an agreed frequency.
Consumables & supplies
Cleaning products and materials, if not provided by the customer.
Illustrative example prices — adjust to your own rates and region.
Why this structure
Mixing a one-off deep clean into the same price as the ongoing rate makes the recurring cost look artificially high — separating them is fairer to the customer and to you.
Commonly forgotten
- • Access arrangements — keys, alarm codes, who lets you in
- • Whether consumables are supplied by you or the customer
- • End-of-tenancy clean scope, which is broader than a regular visit
Good optional extras
- • Window cleaning add-on
- • Carpet or upholstery cleaning
- • One-off post-event clean
Terms to get right
State the notice period required to cancel a recurring contract, and what happens if access isn't available on the scheduled day.
FAQ
Should I quote per-visit or a flat monthly rate?
Per-visit is more transparent and easier to adjust if frequency changes; a flat monthly rate is simpler to invoice but should still show the per-visit rate it's based on.
Who supplies cleaning products?
Either is fine, but state it explicitly — assuming the customer will provide supplies and then finding out on the day they haven't is a common avoidable dispute.
